The Big Picture™
One question. One picture. A clear next step.
The Big Picture™ is a visual game. You bring one hard question about your business. We draw the answer together as a sailboat, on one large board. You leave with a picture your whole team can read, and a clear next step.
Time: Usually 90 minutes. Up to three hours for larger teams or harder questions.
Who: The founder alone, or the leadership team.
Where: In person on a 4 x 8 foot board, or online on Miro.
Price: Online from $2,500. In person from $5,000.
How it works
Six steps from question to action
Step 1
Frame the question
A business holds hundreds of questions. We pick one. Together, we write ideas on the Question Framing Board. It can be messy. That is the point. Example questions: What are our next milestones this year? How do we win more clients? What risks are ahead of us?
Step 2
Bring in the sailboat
We place your question at the center and look at it through one image: your business as a sailboat. Each key word of the question becomes a simple drawing. This is the Visual Framework.
Step 3
Choose the layout
The question decides the view. A journey shows a process. A cutaway shows the structure. A map shows the options. A before and after shows change. A storyboard shows a story. This step ends with a rough blueprint, clearer than the first board, still a sketch.
Step 4
Add the words
Your team agrees on names, labels and short explanations. Choosing words forces clarity. The drawing becomes a tool your team can use to explain the business.
Step 5
Put the big picture together
We bring it all onto one board: the question, the drawings, the layout and the words. In person, a 4 x 8 foot board. Online, a Miro board with hand-drawn art.
Step 6
Now what
From picture to action. We pick a focus, set the next steps, and choose the Activating Structures™ that fit. This is where the real work starts: the picture leads into the MetaHelm® Method, where you pick the best next step and build the practices that grow the business.
What you leave with
A finished board
In person, you keep the board and photos of it. Online, you keep the Miro board. Edits, new versions and color changes after the session are separate work.
Who it is not for
A clear no
Teams who want a nice drawing for the wall. Founders who want the picture but not the choices. Anyone not ready to act on what the board shows.
