It’s so convenient. Let’s believe that the quality of our work will speak for itself.
While it’s essential to be confident in the value of our work, that narrative limits your mindset.
In reality, even the most genius invention won’t sell itself.

As Abraham Lincoln once said, “When I hear a man preach, I like to see him act as if he were fighting bees.
This doesn’t necessarily mean adopting aggressive, manipulative, and sleazy sales tactics; or pitching like a desperate vendor.
It can simply be about genuinely and proactively showcasing your expertise; by listening first, for instance.
It can simply be about creating meaningful moments of connection with potential clients, humans just like us.
To “fight bees” means to demonstrate relentless determination in promoting and defending your ideas, even in the face of adversity. Remember, the journey to success is fraught with challenges.
So, be ready to fight bees for a lifetime.
Also, be ready to get stung sometimes.
